There are already people living it up in 2010. Future people, as I like to call them. They already said goodbye to ‘09. Already had the kiss, or were disappointed because they didn’t. Already were like ‘Fuck ‘09, 2k10 is going to be MY year’ but then they just keep living the way they were and still aren’t happy because they are waiting for life to change instead of changing...

Definitively one of the coolest experiences ever. Found the little guy on the side of a tide pool in Moss Beach. It was amazing to watch it change colors in the blink of an eye, it swam off and left a cloud of ink behind.
Also saw a large sea anemone devour a red rock crab, a multitude of sea stars, and a sea of sea urchins.
I love tide pools.

Currently, Altria (think Philip Morris USA) is using them to “fight against the legalization of marijuana” (that one goes out to anyone who thinks there aren’t powerful entities out there who have a strong financial interest in keeping the stuff illegal…), but could they also be securing domains to be used in a post prohibition world? I’m genuinely proud of Tumblr tonight. Not only have we saved a girl from taking her own life in my hometown, but we have shown what real teamwork is.
The world could learn a few lessons from Tumblr.
